Adamson House and Malibu Lagoon Museum

Historic House · Malibu, California

A 1930 Spanish Colonial Revival house on the beach at Malibu Lagoon, built for the family that owned the entire Malibu coast and finished throughout in tile from their own Malibu Potteries. The tilework — floors, fountains, a tiled dog bath, even a Persian rug rendered in ceramic — is the finest surviving collection of it anywhere.

23200 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, California, 90265, United States

Grounds open regularly and free. House interior by guided tour only, generally Thursday to Saturday.
