Alice Lake Provincial Park
A Forest Park With Four Warm Lakes, A Swimming Beach, A Large Campground, Short Loop Trails, Mountain Bike Links And Views Of The Tantalus Range. A Family Camping And Swimming Park In The Squamish Area, With Booking Needed In Summer · Squamish, British Columbia
Alice Lake Provincial Park lies about 13 km north of Squamish beside Highway 99, roughly 75 km north of Vancouver and 45 km south of Whistler on the Sea-to-Sky route (confirm distances). Four small lakes, Alice, Stump, Fish and Edith, sit among tall second-growth fir, hemlock and cedar, and the warmest of them has a roped swimming beach, a grassy picnic area and calm water for paddling. The Four Lakes trail of about 6 km (confirm) winds around the lakes, a shorter loop circles Alice Lake itself, and on clear days the jagged peaks of the Tantalus Range show across the water. A large campground with showers makes the park a favourite base for families who want to climb the Stawamus Chief, ride bikes, paddle quiet water or visit Whistler for the day, and the lakes stay calm and clear most of the summer. Book camping early with BC Parks, since summer weekends sell out, and confirm any day-use pass, prices and dates.

Campers follow check-in and check-out times set at booking (confirm). A gatehouse may operate in summer, and the day-use car park fills early on hot weekends, when staff can limit entry. Winter brings snow at this altitude and some roads close.
