Amelia Island State Park

Florida State Park · Fernandina Beach, Florida

Undeveloped beach and salt marsh at the southern tip of Amelia Island, and the only place in the Florida state park system where you can ride a horse on the beach. The stables operate as a private concession, the rides book out well ahead, and the rest of the park is a quiet stretch of sand and marsh with a fishing pier on the George Crady bridge.

A1A South, Fernandina Beach, Florida, 32034, United States

Open 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. Horseback rides run on the concession's own schedule and must be booked in advance.
