Armstrong Browning Library
Specialty Museum · Waco, Texas
A building on the Baylor campus in Waco holding the world's largest collection of material relating to Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning, inside an interior of marble, bronze doors and stained glass that is generally described as the largest collection of secular stained glass in any one building. It is free, and almost nobody outside Waco knows it is there.
710 Speight Avenue, Waco, Texas, 76706, United States
⚠ ADMISSION IS FREE. ⚠ HOURS ARE NOT STATED HERE — I could not verify them, and this is a WORKING UNIVERSITY RESEARCH LIBRARY keeping ACADEMIC HOURS: likely closed or restricted at weekends and closed over university holidays. Check Baylor before travelling. ⚠ Go on a BRIGHT morning — the stained glass needs sun behind it, and on a grey day the windows are dark.
