Arrowhead Provincial Park
A Muskoka Park With A Lake, A Big Campground, Sandy Beaches, A Waterfall Called Stubb'S Falls, 20 Km Of Trails And A Famous Winter Skating Trail Through The Forest. A Busy But Pretty Family Park, Open All Year · Huntsville, Ontario
Arrowhead Provincial Park sits beside Highway 11 about 5 km north of Huntsville in Muskoka, Ontario, a short drive from the town and roughly 215 km north of Toronto (confirm distances). It is a classic Muskoka park of granite ridges, pine and hardwood forest, small clear lakes and a waterfall, with sandy beaches on Arrowhead Lake and Mayflower Lake, a large campground, canoe and kayak rentals and about 20 km of trails (confirm). Stubbs Falls tumbles through a rocky gorge on the Big East River, and the Big Bend Lookout gives a wide view over the forest. In winter the park changes, with a lit skating trail through the trees, cross-country ski trails and snowshoe routes, which makes it one of the few Ontario parks that is busy in both July and January, so book ahead for either. A vehicle permit is needed for day use, and camping is reserved through Ontario Parks (confirm all prices and dates).
