Arrowhead Stadium

Stadium · Kansas City, Missouri

The home of the Kansas City Chiefs since 1972, and the loudest stadium in the world by measurement - a crowd here set a Guinness World Record of 137.6 decibels against the Oakland Raiders on 13 October 2013, which is louder than a jet engine at close range. It is the oldest stadium in the AFC and it sits in a vast car park shared with the Royals' ballpark, which is why the tailgating culture here is a genuine institution rather than a preamble.

Open on event days only. THE CHIEFS SEASON RUNS SEPTEMBER TO JANUARY with eight or nine home games plus any play-off games, and tickets for those are scarce and expensive. Stadium tours run on non-event days on a posted schedule, are ticketed, and are the only way most visitors will get inside. Check the tour schedule, which stops entirely around game weeks.
