Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum
Specialty Museum · Auburn, Indiana
A museum of American classic cars housed in the original 1930 Art Deco administration building and showroom of the Auburn Automobile Company at Auburn, Indiana, a National Historic Landmark with its terrazzo floors, plaster ceilings and showroom fittings intact. Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg were built here until the company failed in 1937, and the Duesenberg Model J in particular was the most expensive and most powerful American car of its era. The building is as much of the visit as the collection.
1600 South Wayne Street, Auburn, Indiana, 46706, United States
Open daily year-round, generally 9:00 to 17:00, with limited holiday closures. The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival and auction run over Labor Day weekend on a different schedule.
