Baker Beach

Beach · San Francisco, California

A mile of sand inside the Presidio with the single best view of the Golden Gate Bridge from ground level — the bridge rises directly out of the headland at the north end of the beach. Burning Man began here in 1986, when twenty people burned a wooden figure on the sand. The water is beautiful and will kill you.

Gibson Road, The Presidio, San Francisco, California, 94129, United States
