Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum

Specialty Museum · Leeds, Alabama

The largest motorcycle museum in the world, on a hillside east of Birmingham, holding well over a thousand machines from more than two hundred manufacturers across five floors wrapped around an open atrium. George Barber built it out of a dairy fortune and a racing habit, and the collection is displayed as a working archive rather than a shrine — machines are ridden, restored in view of the public and rotated. The largest collection of Lotus racing cars anywhere is in the same building, and a road course runs through the park outside.

6030 Barber Motorsports Parkway, Leeds, Alabama, 35094, United States

Generally open daily, roughly 10 AM - 5 PM. Closed some major holidays. Arrangements change on race weekends at the adjacent Barber Motorsports Park — check before travelling.
