Battery Point Lighthouse

An 1856 lighthouse on a small rocky island off Crescent City, and one of the oldest on the California coast. It stands on the far side of a tidal causeway, which means the only way to reach it is to walk across the sea bed at low tide — and the only way back is to do it again before the water returns.
