Bisnakandi

River · Gowainghat, Sylhet

A natural amphitheatre on the Meghalaya border in Gowainghat where several hill streams tumble out of India and meet over a bed of rounded stones, with green ridges stacked behind and a waterfall visible on the far hills in the wet months. The visit is a monsoon ritual: a country boat from Hadarpar ghat winds through flooded channels to the stone bowl, where visitors wade, soak and photograph the convergence. Like its neighbour Jaflong it shares the frame with a stone-gathering economy, and like Ratargul it is emphatically a wet-season destination - the seasonal flag is set for the same reason.

Hadarpar Ghat Road, Gowainghat, Sylhet, Bangladesh

A monsoon destination: boats run from Hadarpar ghat in daylight hours roughly June-September when the channels flood, with the last boats returning before dusk. Dry-season access is by rough road to a largely waterless stone field. No formal ticketing reported; boat hire and small ghat charges paid on site.
