A converted warehouse complex at the southern end of Southtown holding more than twenty galleries, studios, a brewery and a contemporary art centre that has been free to enter for decades. On the first Friday and second Saturday of every month the whole place opens late and turns into a street party of art, music and food that costs nothing to join.

⚠ GALLERY HOURS ARE LIMITED AND VARY BY TENANT — many artist-run spaces open only certain afternoons, and an ordinary weekday can find most doors shut. THE RELIABLE TIME IS FIRST FRIDAY OR SECOND SATURDAY, roughly 6 - 10 PM, when 20+ galleries open late with live music and demonstrations, free to attend. The Contemporary at Blue Star is FREE year-round and keeps the steadiest hours. ⚠ Parking fills completely on First Friday.
