Broad Ripple Village

Nightlife District · Indianapolis, Indiana

A neighbourhood on the White River about six miles north of downtown Indianapolis, annexed by the city in 1922 and now its principal nightlife and independent-retail district. The Monon Trail runs through the middle of it, the canal towpath runs alongside, and the compact village core holds bars, restaurants, galleries and independent shops in a walkable few blocks. It is busy and loud at night and a quiet neighbourhood by day, and the two experiences are almost unrelated.

6349 North College Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46220, United States

A public neighbourhood, open at all times. Shops keep daytime hours; bars and venues run to late, particularly at weekends. The farmers market runs Saturday mornings, seasonal.
