Butterfly World
Wildlife Park · Coconut Creek, Florida
The largest butterfly park in the world and the first of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, opened in 1988 on three acres in Coconut Creek. Around twenty thousand live butterflies fly free inside screened aviaries, along with a hummingbird house and a lorikeet aviary, and the whole thing is a working breeding operation as much as an attraction.
