Eighty-six acres in Claremont given over entirely to California native plants — the largest garden of its kind anywhere, and a working research institution rather than a display garden. It was renamed from Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden in 2020, which is why older signage, maps and guidebooks all use the other name.
