The most visited museum in California, and free. Its centrepiece is Space Shuttle Endeavour, which flew 25 missions and was towed twelve miles through Los Angeles streets in 2012; since January 2024 it has stood vertical in full launch configuration with a real external tank and solid rocket boosters, the only such display anywhere.
