Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament

The seat of the Archdiocese of Detroit, a Norman Gothic cathedral on Woodward Avenue begun in 1913 and not finished until 1951. Its interior carries some of the best ecclesiastical stained glass and stonework in the state, and a major restoration reopened it as a genuine Detroit landmark rather than a building people drove past.
