Cave Without a Name

Show Cave · Boerne, Texas

A living cavern eleven miles northeast of Boerne, open for public tours since 1939 and designated a National Natural Landmark, which acquired its name when a local boy told a naming contest that the place was too pretty to have a name. A hundred and twenty-six steps take you eighty feet down into six rooms of formations that many Texans will argue are the finest in the state.
