Cayo Costa State Park

Florida State Park · Boca Grande, Florida

A nine-mile barrier island with no bridge, no road, no shop and no mains power, reachable only by ferry or private boat. It is one of the best shelling beaches in the United States, particularly after a winter storm, and the rustic cabins and tent sites make it the closest thing Florida has to a desert island you can legally sleep on.

Cayo Costa Island, Boca Grande, Florida, 33921, United States
