Food Market · New York, New York

A food hall in the former NABISCO FACTORY where the Oreo was invented in 1912, occupying a full block of Ninth Avenue in the Meatpacking District. ⚠ THE HIGH LINE RUNS DIRECTLY THROUGH AND OVER THE BUILDING. The 1890s brick complex was converted in 1997 with the industrial fabric left exposed — the pipework, the drill holes and a working well — and it now carries roughly thirty-five food and retail tenants.
