Chrysler Museum of Art

Art Museum · Norfolk, Virginia

Norfolk's art museum, transformed in 1971 when Walter Chrysler Jr. gave it his collection, and free to enter since 2013. Its glass holding is the reason it is known outside Virginia — roughly ten thousand pieces spanning three thousand years, one of the handful of great glass collections anywhere — and the working hot shop next door gives free live glassblowing demonstrations most days it is open.

One Memorial Place, Norfolk, Virginia, 23510, United States
