Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal
History Museum · Cincinnati, Ohio
A 1933 Art Deco railway terminal whose half-dome rotunda is among the largest in the Western Hemisphere, saved from demolition and now holding three museums, a library and an OMNIMAX theatre. The mosaic murals lining the concourse were made from Rookwood tile by Winold Reiss and show Cincinnati industries with the workers' actual faces in them.
1301 Western Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45203, United States
Open daily, generally 10:00 to 17:00, with reduced hours on some days. The rotunda and concourse are free to enter; museums are ticketed separately or as a combination.
