Cincinnati Music Hall

Concert Hall · Cincinnati, Ohio

An 1878 Venetian Gothic pile facing Washington Park in Over-the-Rhine, built for a choral festival and now home to the Cincinnati Symphony, the Cincinnati Opera — the second oldest opera company in the country — the ballet and the May Festival. It was built partly over a pauper's cemetery, and remains have been turned up during construction more than once, which is why the ghost stories are the best-documented in the state.

1241 Elm Street, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45202, United States

Performance-led. Resident companies have different seasons — the symphony runs roughly September to May and THE OPERA RUNS IN SUMMER. Building tours run on a schedule.
