City Island
Heritage Village · Bronx, New York
⚠ A NEW ENGLAND FISHING VILLAGE INSIDE NEW YORK CITY — a mile and a half of island in Long Island Sound, reached by a single bridge, with clapboard houses, boatyards, seafood restaurants and a maritime culture entirely unlike the mainland Bronx half a mile away. ⚠ SEVEN AMERICA'S CUP DEFENDERS WERE BUILT HERE, and residents call anyone not born on the island a "mussel-sucker".
City Island Avenue at Fordham Street, Bronx, New York, 10464, United States
