One of the oldest zoos in the United States, founded in 1882 and spread across a steep wooded valley in Old Brooklyn. Its defining building is the RainForest, two acres of tropical habitat under one roof across two levels, which since 1992 has given Cleveland one of the few zoo experiences that works as well in February as in July.
