Collier-Seminole State Park
Florida State Park · Naples, Florida
The gateway to the Ten Thousand Islands, where mangrove wilderness begins and the road south finally runs out of dry land. A tropical hammock of West Indian species sits inland, a Second Seminole War blockhouse replica stands at the entrance, and one of the last surviving Bay City walking dredges — the machine that built the Tamiami Trail across the Everglades — is preserved here.
20200 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, Florida, 34114, United States
Open 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. Paddlers on the long canoe trail must register at the ranger station.
