A 1913 Beaux-Arts concrete arch bridge carrying Colorado Boulevard 150 feet above the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena, built on a curve because the bedrock would not take a straight alignment. Its ornamental lamps and balustrades are original, and it is a National Register landmark with a difficult reputation that the city has worked hard and openly to address.
