The Center of Science and Industry, on the Scioto riverfront opposite downtown Columbus, repeatedly ranked the best science centre in the United States. It occupies the shell of the old Central High School wrapped in a curved Rafael Vinoly extension, and its dinosaur gallery is run in partnership with the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
