Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Specialty Museum · Nashville, Tennessee
The genre's official hall of fame and the largest museum of American popular music anywhere, founded in 1967 and in this purpose-built downtown Nashville building since 2001. The architecture is a set of deliberate puns — a façade of windows like piano keys, a rotunda modelled on a 1950s radio tower, a roofline shaped like the tail fin of a Cadillac. It also owns and operates Historic RCA Studio B on Music Row and the Hatch Show Print letterpress shop.
222 Rep. John Lewis Way South, Nashville, Tennessee, 37203, United States
Open daily, generally 9 AM - 5 PM. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Studio B shuttle tours run on a fixed timetable through the day.
