Dayton Art Institute
Art Museum · Dayton, Ohio
A 1930 museum on a hill above downtown Dayton, built as a deliberate composite of two sixteenth-century Italian villas and looking, from the river below, more like a hillside abbey than a civic institution. Its general admission is free, and its collection is considerably better than a city of Dayton's size has any business holding.
456 Belmonte Park North, Dayton, Ohio, 45405, United States
FREE general admission. Open most days with closures on some weekdays — check before travelling. Special exhibitions are ticketed. Parking on site is free.
