Daytona International Speedway

Racing Circuit · Daytona Beach, Florida

The two-and-a-half-mile tri-oval that has held the Daytona 500 since 1959, with corners banked at thirty-one degrees — steep enough that walking up them is genuinely difficult. It replaced the beach-and-road course that stock car racing grew out of just down the coast, and the February 500 is still the race that opens the NASCAR season rather than closing it.

1801 West International Speedway Boulevard, Daytona Beach, Florida, 32114, United States

Track tours run most non-event days. Race and event dates vary — the Daytona 500 is in February and the Rolex 24 in January.
