A mile of barrier island beach at the north end of Naples, consistently rated among the best in the country and unusual for having five separate car parks strung down its length so you can park almost on the sand. The pass at the north end is a serious fishing and boating channel, and the mangrove estuary behind the dunes is full of wading birds.
