Dequindre Cut Greenway

Detroit Riverfront Conservancy Greenway · Detroit, Michigan

Two miles of former Grand Trunk railway cutting between the Detroit riverfront and Eastern Market, converted into a paved car-free greenway that runs below street level for its whole length. The concrete retaining walls carry decades of graffiti, much of it predating the conversion and deliberately kept.

Dequindre Cut, Atwater Street to Mack Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, 48207, United States

Open daily, generally dawn to dusk. Free.
