Dinosaur Valley State Park
Subnational Park · Glen Rose, Texas
A 1,524-acre park near Glen Rose where 113-million-year-old dinosaur tracks are preserved in the limestone bed of the Paluxy River — three-toed Acrocanthosaurus prints with visible claw marks, and dinner-plate depressions left by a sauropod, in one of the most important trackway sites in the world. You wade into the river and stand in them. ⚠ They are only visible when the water is low, which is not every day of the year.
