Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium

Home Stadium Of The University Of Arkansas Razorbacks, Opened 1938 And Expanded Repeatedly To A Capacity Of Roughly 76,000 The Largest Venue In Arkansas By A Very Wide Margin. · Fayetteville, Arkansas

Razorback Stadium holds around seventy-six thousand people, which is more than the population of Fayetteville, and on seven or eight Saturdays a year it becomes the largest gathering in Arkansas. The stadium opened in 1938 and has been rebuilt around itself several times since; what has not changed is the Hog Call, a drawn-out woo-pig-sooie that seventy-six thousand people perform in unison and which is genuinely startling the first time you hear it. The university is in the Ozarks and the campus around the stadium is hilly and walkable, with Dickson Street's bars a few minutes away. Outside the football season there is very little reason to come.
