Dream World
Amusement Park On Bangkok'S Northern Edge, Opened In 1993 · Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani
Dream World is an amusement park on Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road in Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani, on the northern edge of greater Bangkok, opened in 1993 and for decades one of the best-known theme parks in Thailand for Thai families and school trips. It is laid out in themed zones around gardens and a lake: a fairy-tale area with a pastel castle, a garden zone, a fantasy land and an adventure land with the bigger thrill rides, water rides and a log-flume style splash ride. Its best-known attraction is Snow Town, an indoor hall kept below freezing where Thai children see and play in snow for the first time, with coats and boots lent at the door. Stage and stunt shows run through the day. It is modest by international standards, with older rides and a gentle, nostalgic feel, and it is best on a weekday outside school holidays. Foreigners pay a higher ticket price than Thais. There is no metro to the gate; most people come by taxi or Grab, roughly 45 to 60 minutes from central Bangkok.

NO OPENING TIME HERE WAS CHECKED. The typical pattern: the park opens daily from about 10 am to about 5 pm on weekdays, with slightly longer hours on weekends and holidays; rides and Snow Town close a little before the park, shows run on a timetable posted at the gate, and individual rides close for maintenance without much notice. The park may close or change hours on some days; check the operating calendar. The traps that ruin a day are buying a basic ticket that does not include Snow Town, arriving at midday on a Saturday in the school holidays, expecting a metro station at the gate, discovering a favourite ride is under maintenance, and waiting until closing time to find a taxi home. Confirm current times before relying on them.
