Duck Lake State Park

A day-use park north of Muskegon built around the short channel where Duck Lake runs out into Lake Michigan. Children wade the warm shallow channel while the open lake breaks a hundred yards away, and that combination of a safe inland beach and a big-water beach on one site is the reason families choose it over the larger parks nearby.
