Duke University Chapel

Church · Durham, North Carolina

A Collegiate Gothic chapel finished in 1935 at the centre of Duke University, seating about eighteen hundred people and standing two hundred and ten feet tall - which makes it one of the tallest buildings in Durham County and the axis the whole campus is arranged around. It is an ecumenical Christian and all-faith chapel with Methodist connections, and it is free to walk into, which a great many visitors to Durham never realise.

401 Chapel Drive, Durham, North Carolina, 27708, United States
