Eden Gardens State Park

Florida State Park · Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

A two-storey Greek Revival house of 1897 built by a lumber baron on Tucker Bayou, surrounded by moss-hung live oaks and formal gardens laid out in the 1960s by the woman who bought and restored it. It holds one of the largest collections of Louis XVI furniture in the United States, which is not a sentence anyone expects to read about the Florida Panhandle.

181 Eden Gardens Road, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, 32459, United States

Grounds open 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. THE WESLEY HOUSE IS SEEN BY GUIDED TOUR ONLY on limited days — check the schedule before travelling.
