Opened in 1982 as Walt Disney's abandoned idea for a working city of tomorrow, rebuilt instead as a permanent world's fair. A 180-foot geodesic sphere stands at the entrance, and behind it eleven country pavilions ring a lagoon, each staffed by people from that country and serving its food and drink — which is why EPCOT is the park adults go back to.
