Fanning Springs State Park
Florida State Park · Fanning Springs, Florida
A compact spring park on the Suwannee River where the swimming basin sits only a short walk from the water, and where manatees push up into the run on cold winter days. It doubles as a trailhead for the Nature Coast State Trail, which crosses the Suwannee here on a converted railroad bridge, so it works as a stop as much as a destination.
18020 Northwest Highway 19, Fanning Springs, Florida, 32693, United States
Open 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. Swimming closes when manatees are present.
