Fargo Theatre

Theater · Fargo, North Dakota

An Art Deco cinema on Broadway in downtown Fargo, opened on 15 March 1926 and restored in 1999 to something close to its original state. It still has its Mighty Wurlitzer, a four-manual, twenty-seven-rank theatre pipe organ that rises from the pit and is played before films, and it still runs as a working cinema rather than a museum - independent and foreign films most nights, festivals, live music and comedy. The marquee is the most photographed object in North Dakota's largest city.

314 Broadway North, Fargo, North Dakota, 58102, United States

A working cinema with a nightly programme rather than fixed visiting hours - independent, foreign and classic films most evenings, with matinees, live music, comedy and the annual Fargo Film Festival. Tickets are cheap and sold online and at the box office. ⚠ THE MIGHTY WURLITZER IS PLAYED ON SCHEDULED SCREENINGS RATHER THAN EVERY NIGHT, so check the programme if the organ is why you are coming. Parking is on the street or in downtown ramps rather than on site.
