Fenway Park

National Register Of Historic Places · Boston, Massachusetts

The oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball, opened in April 1912 and still the Red Sox's home, wedged into a Back Bay street grid that dictated its shape and gave it the Green Monster — a thirty-seven-foot left-field wall built tall because there was no room to build the outfield deep. It seats about thirty-seven thousand on seats that are narrow, angled at the wrong things and beloved anyway. Tours run daily year round, so you do not need a game to get in.

4 Jersey Street, Boston, Massachusetts, 02215, United States

Tours run daily year round, roughly hourly, with a shortened route on game days — book timed slots online. Roughly 81 home games from late March or early April into September, plus concerts and other events. No meaningful parking; take the Green Line to Kenmore or Fenway.
