Florida Caverns State Park
Florida State Park · Marianna, Florida
The only place in Florida where the public can walk through an air-filled cave. Rangers lead visitors past stalactites, stalagmites, columns and flowstone in a system opened up by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, who cut the connecting passages by hand. Every other cave in this state is flooded and reachable only by certified divers, which makes this park a genuine one-off.
3345 Caverns Road, Marianna, Florida, 32446, United States
Park open 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. Cave tours run on a set daily schedule and sell out — check times and availability on arrival.
