For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum

Nearly four hundred acres on the eastern edge of Flint, left to Genesee County by the Foote family and run since as a preserve, arboretum and teaching site. Kearsley Creek runs through it, seven miles of trail cross meadow and old woodland, and the whole thing is free.
