Fort Pierce Inlet State Park

Florida State Park · Fort Pierce, Florida

Half a mile of Atlantic beach beside the Fort Pierce inlet, with a surf break at the jetty and a coastal hammock behind the dunes. The Navy trained its first frogmen — the ancestors of the SEALs — on these beaches during the Second World War, and the UDT-SEAL Museum next door tells that story.

905 Shorewinds Drive, Fort Pierce, Florida, 34949, United States

Open 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year.
