Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park

Battlefield · Fredericksburg, Virginia

Four major Civil War battlefields inside a seventeen-mile radius — Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, the Wilderness and Spotsylvania Court House — plus Chatham Manor and the house at Guinea Station where Stonewall Jackson died. More men were killed and wounded on this ground than anywhere else on the continent, roughly a hundred thousand across the four battles, and the whole park is free.
