The Central Valley's major zoo, transformed by a 2015 expansion that added thirteen acres of African Adventure — elephants, lions, rhinos and giraffes viewed across a wide savanna, with a wading-depth pool where visitors stand almost level with the water. Kingdoms of Asia followed in 2023.
