Ginnie Springs
River · High Springs, Florida
A privately owned stretch of the Santa Fe River holding seven springs, and one of the most significant cave diving sites in the world — Jacques Cousteau filmed here and described the visibility as gin clear forever, which is where a good deal of the marketing has lived ever since. It is also, on a summer weekend, one of the largest outdoor parties in north Florida, and those two facts sit uneasily on the same property.
7300 Northeast Ginnie Springs Road, High Springs, Florida, 32643, United States
Privately owned and open daily, generally 8:00 a.m. to sunset with camping. Cash preferred at the gate.
