Good Earth State Park
Subnational Park · Sioux Falls, South Dakota
A park built around the Blood Run Site, a National Historic Landmark on the Big Sioux River that was one of the largest and longest-occupied settlements on the northern plains - a trading and ceremonial centre where thousands of people gathered, occupied for centuries before European contact. It is fifteen minutes from downtown Sioux Falls and almost nobody in the city knows what it is.
480th Avenue, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, 57108, United States
Open year round, dawn to dusk. The visitor centre keeps its own hours and is generally open daily in season with a reduced winter schedule. ⚠ A SOUTH DAKOTA PARK ENTRANCE LICENCE IS REQUIRED, charged per vehicle. Dedicated on 19 July 2013, which makes it one of the newest state parks in the system.
